STORYTELLING:
Tales With A Twist (pre-K thru Adults)
Spontaneous role-playing of stories tailored to your theme: Values, Holiday, Old Testament, Midrash, Faith, Prayer. Eva
infuses her presentations with meaningful messages that can be appreciated on different levels for all ages. Everyone is
engaged in this interactive theatrical experience where the kids / adults become the stars of the show. At least 20 in the
audience will have an opportunity to play a role in front of their peers enhanced by simple costumes. The rest of the
audience stays intimately connected as the judge, townspeople, sound effects, singing refrains, hand gestures (depending on
the age group). This technique fosters imagination, personal insight, renewed appreciation for your religious community and
beliefs, and leaves much to dialogue about after the show. Hearty belly laughs guaranteed!

practical and dynamic workshop, discover simple changes that have a lasting impact!

bountiful messages in this workshop are currently being recorded for publication.

PRIVATE CONSULT: To Be 'Hip' from the Pulpit Or Not To Be
(It's All In The Story:
Interactive Storytelling Techniques for Clergy)
Professional Storyteller Eva Grayzel shares her secrets about interactive, hands-on techniques for reading and telling
stories. Create the 'illustration' using congregants. When stories spontaneously include everyone, they are memorable (even
for months!) and belly laughs are guaranteed. Rabbi Peter Berg, Ridgewood NJ, claims that after one training session with
Eva on High Holiday stories, two unaffiliated families joined his congregation, admitting it was the way he told stories that
hooked them. "After working with Eva, I have set a standard at my congregation, and they await the hour of my story. It
better be good, so I call Eva!" Bring the stories you want to work on.
Bio:
Eva Grayzel is a vivacious storyteller, performing professionally for 20 years. Her unique interactive style has taken her
nation-wide to many religious school programs, churches, synagogues, and faith-based conferences as a performer, workshop
presenter, and keynoter. With vivacity and sincerity, Eva crafts stories that mesmerize, transform and entertain her
audiences. Her award-winning material has been published and recorded. She has produced two storytelling recordings and
her original 'raps' have been published in 'Chosen Tales'.
After recovering from a life-threatening illness, Eva's work expanded with lectures and
workshops for teens, parents, and faith-based adults, on turning adversity into opportunity. She is guided by her mission to
share all the profound knowledge acquired while battling stage 4 oral cancer - ironic for a storyteller! She lectures at
dental schools about her story, making a connection between their work and their heart.
